Cialis, a branded formulation of tadalafil, has been approved for use in the United States and Canada. It is the only FDA-approved drug in its class for treating ED.
The FDA has approved Cialis for use as part of a total ED treatment program that provides patients with a prescription for up to 36 months after their first use of the medication. The drug can also be prescribed in the form of injections, implants, or sildenafil tablets.
Cialis is currently available as a generic product from Cialis Canada. It is available through Canadian pharmacies that also offer generic tadalafil. However, Canadian pharmacy chains, including Walgreens, have not yet issued approval to Cialis. The FDA is currently awaiting the results of a clinical trial conducted by Cialis Canada.
